Let It Snow

Accidentally sent this post off a little prematurely a while ago- so if you’re getting this a second time, a friendly reminder that shouting profanities at your laptop screen will not unclick that button you didn’t mean to click. Live and learn.

Anyways, this post is coming to you from a stress free zone. That’s right, the light at the end of the finals tunnel has arrived- aka final grades have been posted. I somehow seem to have survived the semester without going insane, and better yet, without failing. Its a Christmas miracle.

My reward is lounging around in a winter wonderland, marathoning TV shows, and ignoring any and all reminders of the outside world. Isn’t that what the holidays are all about?

For those of you still battling final exams, work and the rest of reality here are some shots of my winter wonderland (and some random shots of my brother fishing that I didn’t know what to do with). May your days be merry and filled with too many cookies.

There’s a certain slant of light,
On winter afternoons,
That oppresses, like the weight
Of cathedral tunes.
