Better Late than Never, Right?
It’s been almost a month since I last posted.
In my own defense, it has been one busy month. I finished off the summer soaking up the Borneo sun, and before I knew it I was somewhere over the Pacific trying to delude myself into forgetting that summer was, in fact, over. I stopped over in Chicago to see my sister, recover from the trip, and consume as much delicious food as humanly possible before it was back to mac ‘n cheese and blueberry pop-tarts.
After about a week of settling into my cosy (and surprisingly scenic) apartment on campus, reality hit me like a $200 textbook to the face. I said goodbye to the well-slept, stress-free days of my freshman year and accepted that it would be study, eat, sleep, repeat from here on out. I’m clearly mentally unstable for having taken on 21 credits in one semester.
I’ll be venturing out of my dark study cave occasionally to explore Boston and, in November, to see NYC for the very first time, so keep an eye out for those posts if you’re interested!
So thats my explanation of why the only sights I’ve seen in the last month have been from the windows of my apartment. Good thing it’s a nice view.
